This position maintains and operates cutting-edge EV charging stations, assists customers, and ensures smooth operations. Provides customer assistance, performs routine maintenance, troubleshoots problems, and ensures that the stations are operating efficiently. Other duties may include record-keeping, maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that safety protocols are followed.

Requirements:
- Current possession of a valid Class B driver’s license with a passenger endorsement and air brakes certification, with no restrictions required
- Excellent driving record
- Must be 21 years or older with a California Driver’s License (at least two years with a CA driver’s license)
- Availability to work varying shifts, hours, days, and locations
- Ability to work independently and in a team

ATN maintains a fleet of 80 vehicles. Of these, 46 are full-size zero-emission electric transit buses, 18 are natural gas-fueled cut-away vehicles, three (3) are mid-size transit-style electric buses, three (3) are zero-emission electric vans, and ten (10) are neighborhood microtransit electric vehicles.
This position performs all types of bus vehicle repairs, inspections, maintenance, and electrical repairs, ranging from minor to major.
Starting Hourly Rates (DOEQ):
- Senior-Level Technician (III): $34.51/ hourly
- Mid-Level Technician (II): $28.56/ hourly
- Entry-Level Technician (I): $26.18/ hourly
The technical proficiency level of a technician is based on factors such as their educational qualifications, years of work experience, expertise in electric vehicle systems, acquired skills, and overall job performance.
