Day 1: Experience the Disneyland Resort, now celebrating 60 years of magic. Be amazed by three new nighttime spectaculars: Paint the Night Parade, Disneyland Forever fireworks, and the all new World of Color show “Celebrate!” Be enchanted with classic stories, adventures, and exhilarating thrills. Experience Star Wars like never before. It’s the season of the Force at the Disneyland Resort. Explore the haunted caverns of Pirates of the Caribbean. Glide over orange groves on Soarin Over California. Hold on tight for a ride through outer space on Space Mountain. Go on a thrilling high speed race aboard Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land.
Day 2: Visit Knott’s Berry Farm, America’s first theme park and the home of Snoopy. Ride several exciting roller coasters including GhostRider, Xcelerator, and Silver Bullet. Splash down the Timber Mountain Log Ride. Stroll through the streets of the Old West Ghost Town. Hang out with the Peanuts gang in Camp Snoopy. Take the Voyage to the Iron Reef, the spectacular new interactive 4-D gaming adventure that submerges guests into the deep sea to battle mysterious creatures.
In the evening, enjoy one of two 2-hour dinner shows just down the street from Knott’s Berry Farm: Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament or Pirates Dinner Adventure. At Medieval Times, experience a live tournament with jousting, sword-fighting, falconry and pageantry during a four course feast inside an 11th century style castle. Cheer your knight onto victory! At Pirates Dinner Adventure, experience a swashbuckling spectacle of stunts, swordplay, magic and acrobatics with an 18th century ship replica as the stage. Be ready to yell and cheer for your pirate!
Day 3: Ready for some shopping? Spend the morning at South Coast Plaza, the international fashion shopping destination with nearly 300 stores. In the afternoon, shop more than 120 stores at The Outlets at Orange, featuring name brand outlets and value retailers at savings of up to 70% off every day.
In the evening, return to the Disneyland Resort for more magical fun!
Day 4: Ready for more shopping? Spend the morning and lunch time at Anaheim GardenWalk, an outdoor entertainment and shopping center. Popular restaurants include Cheesecake Factory, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Roy’s Hawaiian fusion, Fire + Ice Grill + Bar, P.F. Chang’s and California Pizza Kitchen. In the early afternoon visit Anaheim Muzeo, a unique museum and cultural center which hosts inventive art exhibits and caters to all ages. In the late afternoon and evening go to the Anaheim Packing District, a new downtown gathering place with 20+ artisan eateries. Favorites include Black Sheep Grilled Cheese Bar, Umami Burger, Adya Fresh Indian Flavors, and Anaheim Brewery. Bars are open until midnight and live music is featured every weekend.
Day 5: Can’t get enough shopping? Take ART’s Santa Ana Line to MainPlace with nearly 200 stores under one roof. Further down the street is Bowers Museum, well known for its collections of Native American, Pre-Columbian, Asian, and African art plus art of the Pacific and Orange County history. View collections including pottery, basketry, beadwork, tools, weapons and jewelry. Special exhibitions are featured such as Mummies of the World. Finish your day in Downtown Santa Ana, a diverse community where you can enjoy an emerging arts scene, farm-to-table restaurants, craft beer and cocktails.
