Day 1 – Knott’s Berry Farm and Medieval Times/ Pirates Dinner

Morning and Afternoon: Knott’s Berry Farm

Get your adrenaline going and begin your day at America’s oldest theme park! For the real thrill-seeker, experience several well-known rides including the Xcelerator, the GhostRider, Supreme Scream, and more! For a more mild experience, splash down the Timber Mountain Log Ride, stroll through the streets of Old West Ghost Town, and hang out with the Peanuts gang in Camp Snoopy. Finally, don’t forget to take the voyage to the Iron Reef, the spectacular interactive 4-D gaming adventure that submerges guests into the deep sea to battle mysterious creatures!

In the Evening: Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament or the Pirates Dinner

End your day at the Medieval Times Dinner or the Pirates Dinner down the street from Knott’s Berry Farm. At Medieval Times, experience a live tournament with jousting, sword-fighting, falconry, and pageantry during a four-course no-utensil feast inside an 11th century style castle. At the Pirates dinner experience a whole new world of Spanish galleons, stunts, and magic as you watch pirates tell a story of swashbuckling, merryment, and love on their pirate ship!

Getting there is easy: Catch a ride on ART route 18! Line 18 runs daily, starting service at 9:00 AM, with a service break between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The last bus departs from Buena Park at 9:30 PM. The bus includes a stop that will drop you off within walking distance of Knott’s as well as a stop on Beach Blvd. to go to the Medieval times Dinner & Tournament or the Pirates Dinner.

Day 2 – Universal Studios

Get ready for the ultimate Hollywood experience at Universal Studios! Join your favorite magical characters by riding Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter or enjoy the new post-apocalyptic Waking Dead attraction, described as “beyond your wildest screams!” Other thrilling attractions include: Transformers The Ride 3D, Jurassic Park The Ride, Revenge of the Mummy the Ride, and WaterWorld – a tidal wave of explosive action. Universal Studios is a thrilling day of fun for the whole family!

How to get there: Steps to connect to Universal Studios Hollywood from Anaheim:

  1. Catch ART to ARTIC Amtrak Station. From the Anaheim Resort, ARTIC Sports Complex Line 14 or 15. (Tell the driver you’re taking Metrolink or AMTRAK and your transfer is free).
  2. Take Metrolink OR AMTRAK to LA UNION STATION
  3. At Union Station transfer to the Metro Red Line (Metrolink – transfer is free, Amtrak – purchase a metro ticket from a kiosk)
  4. Take Metro RED LINE to Universal City/Studio City
  5. The new Metro pedestrian bridge, located at the corner of Lankershim and Universal Hollywood Drive, provides safe and easy access from the Universal City Red Line to the FREE Universal Studios shuttle stop without having to cross any busy intersections. The shuttle will take you directly to the main entrances of Universal Studios Hollywood and CityWalk Hollywood as well as bring you back to the bridge when your day is done.

This shuttle service runs 7 days a week, with pick-ups approximately every 10-15 minutes. Shuttle service begins at 7:00 am every morning. Service continues until approximately 2 hours after the Theme Park closes. Please refer to the posted times at each shuttle stop for information on the last departing shuttle.

Day 3 – San Diego Zoo or LEGOLAND

The world famous San Diego Zoo features 3500 rare and endangered animals and an incredible botanical collection with 700,000 exotic plants. Take the guided bus tour and the thrilling Skyfari ride. See your favorite animals including Giant Pandas, polar bears, gorillas, elephants, cheetahs, and koalas.

Getting there is easy: From the Anaheim Resort, catch ART ARTIC Sports Complex Line 14 or 15 to ARTIC Amtrak Station. Take the Amtrak Pacific Surliner train to the Downtown San Diego station. Transfer to MTS 215 bus eastbound (toward S.D.S.U. – San Diego State University). Exit at Park Blvd. and Zoo Place; Lyfting from the Downtown San Diego station is another alternative to the MTS 215 transfer!

LEGOLAND California

LEGOLAND offers the ultimate LEGO experience! Check out the new LEGO Ninjago The Ride: Fireballs! Lightning! Shockwaves! Ice! You control these elements to defeat the Great Devourer and earn ninja status. Experience the thrilling rides in Land of Adventure, Pirate Shores and Castle Hills including The Dragon and Knights’ Tournament. Seeing MiniLand constructed with millions of LEGO bricks is a thrilling experience for the whole family. And . . . LEGOLAND Water Park and Sea Life Aquarium are right next door!

How to get to LEGOLAND: From the Anaheim Resort, catch ART ARTIC Sports Complex Line 14 or 15 to ARTIC Amtrak Station. Take Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train to the Oceanside Station. From Oceanside Station take Lyft or a taxi to LEGOLAND.

Day 4- Disneyland Resort

No Southern California Adventure would be complete without a trips to The Happiest Place on Earth! Take any ART line, as all our routes begin and end in Disneyland! Experience classic attractions such as the Sleeping Beauty Castle, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean, or kick it up a notch with thrilling coasters like Space Mountain in Disneyland and California Screamin’ in California Adventure! Popular eateries include Carnation Cafe for a delicious breakfast buffet, Blue Bayou for a sophisticated high-end dining experience, and Pizza Port for fare for the whole family. Make sure to say hi to your favorite characters and catch the fireworks or Fantasmic at the end of the night!
